Terms of Service

Effective date: October 15, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and ParJenn Inc. (doing business as ParJenn Technologies) for anything you buy from HostWithParJenn: web hosting, domain names, professional email and SSL certificates. Please read them. They are written to be plain, not tricky.

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean ParJenn Inc., a Texas company doing business as ParJenn Technologies, 4030 Heatherbrook Ct, Port Arthur, TX 77642, USA. HostWithParJenn is the name of our hosting store. “You” means the person or business that holds the account.

1. Agreeing to these terms

You agree to these terms when you create an account, place an order, or use any of our services. If you are agreeing for a business, you confirm you have the authority to do so, and “you” means that business.

You must be at least 18 years old to open an account.

Some services come from other companies and carry their own rules as well (see sections 7 and 8). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

2. Your account

  • Keep your account details accurate and up to date, especially your email address. That is where invoices, renewal notices and security alerts go.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by people you share access with.
  • Tell us right away at billing@hostwithparjenn.com if you think someone has gotten into your account.

3. Orders

Each plan’s features and price are shown in the store at clients.hostwithparjenn.com when you order. We may review new orders for fraud, and we may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if we cannot verify it or cannot provide the service.

4. Billing and renewal

  • Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes are added to your invoice.
  • Services renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We send the renewal invoice 14 days before it is due.
  • If you have a saved card or PayPal billing agreement, we charge it on the due date. Card payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal; we never store full card numbers.
  • If we change the price of a service you already have, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal.
  • We do not charge late fees.

5. If an invoice goes unpaid

  • If an invoice is still unpaid 5 days after its due date, the service is suspended. Your website and email stop working, but your files are kept.
  • Paying the invoice turns the service back on, usually within minutes.
  • If a service stays unpaid for 30 days or more after its due date, we may cancel it and delete its data. We will email you before we do.
  • Domain names follow their own renewal rules (see section 7). A suspended hosting account does not renew your domain.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any service from your account: open the service and choose Request Cancellation. You can cancel at the end of the current billing period, or right away.

30-day money-back guarantee on hosting. If you cancel a new hosting plan within 30 days of your first order, we refund what you paid for that hosting plan. To ask, open a support ticket within the 30 days.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • domain names, which cannot be refunded once registered, renewed or transferred
  • SSL certificates and professional email, once they have been issued or set up
  • renewals of any service
  • accounts closed for breaking these terms

Outside the guarantee, cancelling stops future charges but does not refund time already paid for. The service keeps running until the end of the period you paid for, unless you asked for it to end right away.

When hosting ends, its files, databases and email are deleted. Download anything you want to keep before you cancel.

7. Domain names

  • We register domains through our registrar partner, Tucows (OpenSRS). By registering, renewing or transferring a domain with us you also agree to the registrar’s registration agreement and to the rules of the registry for that ending (.com, .net and so on), including ICANN policies.
  • You are the registrant. The domain is registered in your name, and you control it.
  • Registries require correct contact details. False or out-of-date details can get a domain suspended by the registry. When you change some contact details, the registrar may lock the domain against transfer for 60 days; that is an ICANN rule, not ours.
  • Domains renew automatically when the renewal invoice is paid. If a domain expires, it may stop working at once, and getting it back after the grace period can cost an extra fee charged by the registry. After that it can be lost for good. Keeping it renewed is your responsibility; we send reminders before it expires.
  • You can transfer your domain to another provider at any time, except where registry rules prevent it (for example, within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer). Ask us for the transfer code from your account or by support ticket.
  • Disputes over who has the right to a domain name are handled under the registry’s dispute policy (for example, the UDRP), not by us.

8. SSL certificates and professional email

SSL certificates are issued by DigiCert, and professional email is provided by Open-Xchange, both through WHMCS MarketConnect. Each may require you to accept its own terms when the service is set up. A certificate cannot be issued until the domain or business validation required by the certificate authority is complete.

9. Acceptable use

Our hosting runs on shared servers, so one account’s misuse can harm everyone else on them. You may not use our services to:

  • break any law, or host content that is illegal where you or we operate
  • send spam or unsolicited bulk email, or host sites advertised that way
  • run phishing pages, distribute malware, or attack, scan or break into other systems
  • host content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights
  • harass, threaten or exploit others, or host any content that sexually exploits minors (we report this to the authorities)
  • mine cryptocurrency, run open proxies or relays, or run anything that uses a share of the server’s processor, memory or bandwidth far beyond normal website use
  • resell or share your hosting account unless your plan says you may

If an account harms the server, other customers, or the public, we may suspend it right away, without notice, and tell you why afterward. For lesser problems we will contact you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix them.

Reporting abuse: email billing@hostwithparjenn.com with the web address involved and a description of the problem. Copyright complaints follow the steps in section 10.

10. Copyright complaints

We respect copyright and follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe material on a site we host infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent:

  • Branden Parker, Copyright Agent, ParJenn Inc.
  • 4030 Heatherbrook Ct, Port Arthur, TX 77642, USA
  • Phone: (409) 502-6604
  • Email: dmca@hostwithparjenn.com

To be valid, your notice must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed
  3. the web address (URL) or other details that let us find the material
  4. your name, address, phone number and email address
  5. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
  6. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them

When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable the material and tell the customer who posted it.

If your material was removed by mistake, you can send our agent a counter-notice that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature
  2. a description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of legal papers from the person who sent the original notice

We send the counter-notice to the person who complained. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers: we close the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe others’ copyrights.

Knowingly false claims in a notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages. If you are not sure whether material infringes, consider talking to a lawyer first.

11. Your content and backups

You own everything you put on our servers. You give us only the permission we need to store it, serve it and back it up as part of running the service.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Our servers make regular backups, and we will try to restore from them if you ask, but they are a courtesy: we do not guarantee that any backup exists, is complete, or can be restored. Keep your own copy of your website, databases and anything else you cannot afford to lose.

12. Keeping your site secure

Keep the software you install up to date: WordPress, its plugins and themes, and any other scripts. If your site is hacked or starts sending spam, we may disable it until it is cleaned up, to protect the server and the other customers on it. We will tell you what we found.

13. Uptime and maintenance

We work hard to keep every service running, but we do not promise it will never go down. Servers need maintenance, and problems at our data center or upstream providers can cause outages we cannot control. We schedule planned maintenance for low-traffic hours where we can.

14. Support

Support is by ticket from your account, or by email at billing@hostwithparjenn.com. We help with our services: your hosting account, domains, email and certificates. Building, designing or fixing the code of your website is not included, but we can quote it separately.

15. Ending service

You can end any service at any time as described in section 6. We may end a service if you break these terms, if an invoice goes unpaid as described in section 5, or if we stop offering that service. If we stop offering a service for reasons that are not your fault, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and refund any time you prepaid beyond the end date.

16. Limits on our responsibility

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Apart from what these terms say, we make no promises about them, including any implied promise that they will suit a particular purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or damage to your reputation, even if we were told they were possible.

If we are responsible for a loss, the most we will owe you in total is what you paid us for the service involved in the 12 months before the problem happened.

Some places do not allow these limits. Where they are not allowed, they apply only as far as the law permits.

17. Claims about your content

If someone makes a legal claim against us because of content you put on our servers, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, including legal fees.

18. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and of the United States. If a dispute cannot be worked out between us, it will be decided in the state or federal courts serving Jefferson County, Texas, and both of us agree to those courts.

Before taking any formal step, please contact us. Most problems can be fixed with a conversation.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. For changes that matter to you, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the services after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree to them, you can cancel before they take effect.

20. The rest of the fine print

  • These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and anything shown with your order, are the whole agreement between us about these services.
  • If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
  • You may not transfer your account to someone else without our agreement. Domain names can be transferred as described in section 7.
