Effective date: October 15, 2026
This policy explains what personal information HostWithParJenn collects when you browse our store, create an account, buy hosting, domains, email or SSL, or sign in with Google or Facebook, and what we do with it.
Who we are
HostWithParJenn is the web hosting, domain, email and SSL store run by ParJenn Technologies, a small IT company in Southeast Texas. ParJenn Technologies is a trade name of ParJenn Inc., a Texas company. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean ParJenn Inc. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
The store and customer portal is at clients.hostwithparjenn.com. Our main website is hostwithparjenn.com.
Questions or requests about your information:
- Email: billing@hostwithparjenn.com
- Mail: ParJenn Inc. (ParJenn Technologies), 4030 Heatherbrook Ct, Port Arthur, TX 77642, USA
- Or open a support ticket from your account.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to sell you services, deliver them and bill for them.
| What | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Name, company name, email, phone, mailing address, tax ID (optional), password (stored scrambled, never readable) | You, when you register or update your account |
| Order and billing records | Products ordered, invoices, payment status, the last 4 digits and expiry of a saved card | You and our payment processors |
| Domain contact details | Registrant name, address, email and phone | You, when you register or transfer a domain (registries require this) |
| Support conversations | Tickets, emails and attachments you send us | You |
| Sign-in details | Your name, email and account ID from Google or Facebook, if you sign in that way | Google or Facebook, with your permission |
| Technical data | IP address, browser type, pages visited, login times | Your browser, our server logs and analytics |
| Marketing choice | Whether you opted in to marketing email | You, at registration or in your account |
We do not collect or store full card numbers. Card details go straight to Stripe or PayPal and never touch our server.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and let you sign in.
- To set up, renew and support the services you buy (hosting, domains, email, SSL).
- To bill you, take payment and keep tax and accounting records.
- To answer your support requests.
- To send service email you need: order confirmations, invoices, renewal and expiry notices, security alerts.
- To send news or offers, only if you opted in. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep the store secure: blocking spam sign-ups, spotting fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the store is used so we can improve it, using Google Analytics.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to the services above.
Signing in with Google or Facebook
You can sign in with your Google or Facebook account instead of a password. This is optional. You can always use your email and password.
When you choose one, that service asks your permission, then sends us only:
- your name
- your email address
- your profile picture
- an account ID that links your Google or Facebook account to your account with us
We use this only to sign you in, and to match or create your account. We do not ask for or receive your posts, friends list, photos, birthday or any other Google or Facebook data. We never post anything on your behalf.
The first time you sign in this way, if your email already matches an account with us, we ask you to sign in once with your password to confirm the link.
To remove the link, see “Your choices” below. Google and Facebook’s own handling of your data is covered by their privacy policies.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the companies that help us run the store and deliver what you buy, and only what each one needs.
| Company | What they do for us | What they receive | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hosting.com | Hosts the server that runs our store and your hosting account | Everything stored in your account | United States |
| Stripe | Card payments | Name, email, billing address, card details (entered directly with Stripe) | United States |
| PayPal | PayPal payments | Name, email, payment details (entered directly with PayPal) | United States |
| Tucows (OpenSRS) | Domain registration and renewal | Domain contact details | Canada, United States |
| Domain registries | Run each domain ending (.com, .org and so on) | Domain contact details, as each registry requires | Varies by ending |
| WHMCS MarketConnect, with Open-Xchange and DigiCert | Professional email and SSL certificates, if you order them | Name, email, domain, and the details the certificate needs | United States, Europe |
| Analytics, spam protection (reCAPTCHA), Google sign-in, web fonts | Technical data; sign-in details if you use Google sign-in | United States | |
| Meta (Facebook) | Facebook sign-in, if you use it | Technical data needed to sign you in | United States |
Public domain records. Some domain contact details can appear in public WHOIS or RDAP lookups, depending on the domain ending and the privacy options available for it.
When the law requires it. We may disclose information when required by law, such as a valid subpoena or court order. See “Requests from public authorities” below.
If the business changes hands. If ParJenn Technologies or HostWithParJenn is sold or merged, customer records would transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy for information collected under it.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores for a website. Our store uses these:
| Cookie | Set by | Why | Needed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| WHMCS session cookie | Us | Keeps you signed in and holds your cart | Yes |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention for card payments | Yes |
g_state | Remembers your Google sign-in choice | Only if you use Google sign-in | |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Counts visits and shows us which pages are used | No |
Google Analytics shows us visit counts and popular pages, not who you are. To opt out, use your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies entirely will stop you signing in.
How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Account details | While your account is open, then up to 12 months after your last service ends |
| Invoices and payment records | 7 years, for tax and accounting law |
| Domain contact records | While the domain is registered with us, plus what the registrar and registries keep under their own rules |
| Support tickets | 3 years after the ticket closes |
| Server and access logs | Up to 90 days |
| Google or Facebook sign-in link | Until you remove it or close your account |
When the time is up, we delete the information or make it impossible to link back to you.
Your choices
- See or correct your information. Sign in and edit your details under your account, or ask us for a copy of what we hold.
- Stop marketing email. Turn it off in your account settings or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Service email (invoices, renewal and security notices) continues while you have active services.
- Delete your information. Email billing@hostwithparjenn.com or open a ticket asking us to close your account and delete your information. We confirm your identity, then delete everything except records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices. We reply within 30 days.
- Remove Google or Facebook sign-in. Disconnect it from your account settings, or remove HostWithParJenn from the apps list in your Google or Facebook account settings. Then email us if you also want the stored name, email and account ID deleted.
Deleting data we received from Facebook
To delete the information we received through Facebook sign-in:
- Go to your Facebook Settings & privacy > Settings > Apps and websites, find HostWithParJenn (shown as “ParJenn Technology”) and click Remove.
- Email billing@hostwithparjenn.com with the subject “Delete my Facebook data” from the email address on your account.
- We delete your Facebook account ID and any data received only through Facebook within 30 days and confirm by email.
We do not discriminate against anyone for using these choices.
Requests from public authorities
If a government agency, court or law enforcement body asks us for a customer’s personal information, we follow these rules:
- We check that the request is lawful. We disclose information only in response to valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order or warrant, and we have the request reviewed before acting on it.
- We push back on improper requests. If a request looks unlawful, too broad or improperly served, we ask for it to be narrowed or withdrawn, and challenge it where appropriate.
- We give only what is required. We disclose the minimum information the request legally requires and nothing more.
- We keep a record. We document each request, what we provided, the legal basis and who was involved.
Where the law allows, we tell the affected customer about the request before we respond, so they can object.
Security
The store runs over encrypted HTTPS. Passwords are stored scrambled so no one, including us, can read them. Admin access is limited and protected by two-factor sign-in, and card details are handled only by Stripe and PayPal. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. We will change the effective date at the top, and for important changes we will email account holders before they take effect.
