Register it in your own name
We have had to untangle this more times than we’d like. A business has a website built, and the designer registers the domain in their own name, because it’s easier. Years later the two part ways, and the business finds out it doesn’t own its own name on the web.
Every domain registered here is in your name. You are the owner on record, you control it from your account, and if you ever want to move it somewhere else, we’ll give you the code to do it.
Watch the renewal price, not the first-year price
A lot of registrars sell a domain for a dollar or two the first year, then charge $20 or more every year after. You only pay the low price once.
Ours is $14.95 a year, the first year and every year after. We would rather be the same price every time than surprise you later.
We send renewal reminders before your domain expires. If it does expire, it can stop working right away, and getting it back after the grace period costs extra. That fee comes from the registry, not from us.
Already have a domain somewhere else?
You can transfer it here for $14.95, and the transfer adds a year to it, so you don’t lose the time you already paid for. You’ll need the transfer code from your current registrar, and the domain has to be unlocked there first.
